About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist to join their team in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. This role involves verifying routine product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and performing auditing, surveillance, and monitoring.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience inspecting aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies for conformance with applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans
- Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift; able to lift, carry, move and manipulate a large volume and variety of parts
- Willing to work variable shifts; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience identifying, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- 1+ years of experience working in a cross functional work environment
- 1+ years of experience in a formal or informal team leadership role
Responsibilities
- Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
- Provides objective evidence of results.
- Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
- Identifies and documents discrepancies.
- Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
- Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
