About The Position

KMC Controls is a well-established and growing building automation controls technology provider and manufacturer in New Paris, Indiana. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Quality Process Inspector to play a key role in ensuring that all products meet established quality requirements. The Quality Process Inspector performs tests and inspects materials, parts, and products at all stages of production. The current open position will be focused primarily on receiving inspection.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environment

• Ability to use measuring devices such as gages, calipers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Selects and tests products at specified stages in production process
• Accept or rejects material, parts and product based on conformance to specifications
• Brings attention to a problem that would compromise quality
• Records inspection and test data in a neat and logical fashion
• Enters data into computer for analysis, generates charts and graphs
• Participate in resolving quality-related issues
