The Quality-of-Life Officer is a sworn law enforcement officer responsible for carrying out a combination of administrative, enforcement, and public service duties. This position supports the department’s mission by investigating complaints from the public and outside agencies, conducting site inspections, issuing warnings or citations for violations, and working with the community to resolve issues and maintain public safety. Quality-of-Life Officers play a key role in upholding City ordinances and ensuring community standards are met.
