About The Position
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Quality Multifamily Manager (Level K) to join the 777 CI&R Quality team in Everett, WA on 1st shift. This position will be responsible for management of the 777 CI&R Quality Core team comprised of Quality Systems Specialists who provide Program and Quality Leadership with Data and Analytics.
Requirements
- 3 + years of proficiency-level experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- 1 + years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
- 1 + years of experience with Safety Management System (SMS)
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- Experience within aerospace/defense supply chains.
- Experience managing supplier transitions, change management, or supplier development programs
- Demonstrated record of implementing successful supplier improvement plans
- Experience managing multicultural suppliers, teams and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Manages salaried team providing data, analysis, and insights to program and functional leadership.
- Works cross functionally to develop and maintain automated reports and KPIs.
- Monitors KPIs to identify potential risks and issues.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality and Safety Management System.
- Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
