Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree + 10 years in engineering or quality
- Experience in aerospace and/or automotive manufacturing (steel, aluminum, titanium, etc.)
- AS9100 Lead Auditor certification
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive Core Tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing experience
- Strong understanding of QMS principles and technical specs
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, Nadcap, FAR, DFARS, ITAR, OEM standards, and IATF 16949 automotive requirements
- Manage audits, corrective actions, and final product/service release
- Supervise and mentor the Quality team
- Oversee supplier qualifications and equipment calibration
- Support APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for automotive programs
- Promote safety and regulatory compliance across operations
