About The Position

At Leesta, recently acquired by Pursuit Aerospace, we manufacture precision aerospace components for some of the world's leading aircraft engine and aerospace manufacturers. The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the site's Quality Management System and all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace industry requirements. Reporting to senior leadership, this role leads a multidisciplinary Quality team, supports manufacturing operations, and champions a culture where product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction remain at the forefront of everything we do.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of quality experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership experience managing quality teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems.
  • Experience leading internal and external audits.
  • Experience with audits, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing nonconformances, corrective actions, and root cause investigations.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required.

  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the site's AS9100 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace industry requirements.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a multidisciplinary team responsible for quality assurance, quality control, calibration, and quality systems.
  • Oversee internal, customer, and certification audits, including Management Reviews.
  • Drive nonconformance management, root cause investigations, and corrective actions to ensure effective issue resolution and prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues, improve manufacturing performance and support operational excellence.
  • Oversee supplier quality, inspection activities, and process validation, including FAI and APQP/PPAP.
  • Oversee metrology and calibration activities to ensure measurement system integrity.
  • Establish quality objectives, review performance metrics, identify trends, and communicate results to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the primary quality representative with customers, certification bodies, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and quality ownership across the organization.
