About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality system, inspection team, and customer compliance efforts. Requirements
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality requirements
- Extensive experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS
- Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot CMM programs from engineering models and drawings
- Strong proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
- Experience managing customer, certification, and regulatory audits
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams while remaining engaged in day-to-day manufacturing operations
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System
- Manage all quality assurance and inspection activities across the facility
- Supervise and develop quality personnel, including inspectors and technicians
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer, regulatory, and certification audits
- Oversee corrective and preventive action processes, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Review and approve First Article Inspections (FAIs), inspection plans, and quality documentation
- Monitor quality metrics and drive improvements in quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
- Support contract review, customer quality requirements, and flow-down compliance
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and management to ensure quality is built into every process
- Maintain calibration, nonconformance, supplier quality, and document control systems
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CMM programs for complex aerospace components
- Provide hands-on support for inspection activities and complex dimensional evaluations
