About The Position
Direct Hire Staffworks Professional is recruiting an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality systems and continuous improvement at our SUNY Poly facility. This role oversees customer quality, incoming inspection, process quality, audits, corrective actions, supplier quality, calibration, SPC, MSA, and overall QMS performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of QMS, audits, SPC, MSA, calibration, corrective actions, and supplier quality.
Nice To Haves
- ASQ or Six Sigma certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead site quality programs, audits, corrective actions, and customer initiatives.
- Drive defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Manage quality KPIs, supplier performance, and nonconforming materials.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to enhance product and process quality.
- Develop and mentor the quality team while building a strong quality culture.
