Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality Engineering OR equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and products
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Hands-on work ethic
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize glass fabrication and tempering processes to increase efficiency
- Implement lean tools (5S, SOP, visual management) and lead Kaizen events
- Collaborate with operations to eliminate production bottlenecks
- Partner with safety teams to champion facility safety initiatives
- Maintain and improve internal/external quality programs
- Respond to quality issues to minimize customer impact
- Investigate and resolve field quality issues
- Develop and track KPIs to drive corrective and preventive action
