The Quality Manager is responsible for project-level planning, implementation, independent verification, and reporting of the Mission Critical (MC) Quality Program in accordance with current Quality Program standards, contractual requirements, approved project documents, applicable codes, and client expectations. The Quality Manager develops and administers the project-specific Quality Plan and verifies that materials, equipment, installations, testing, documentation, and corrective work demonstrate conformance before affected work progresses, becomes concealed, or is presented as complete. The Quality Manager independently verifies that applicable quality requirements have been satisfied. The Quality Manager may be designated as the Lead Quality Manager for an assigned project or may serve under another designated Lead Quality Manager on larger or more complex assignments. Organizational reporting remains through the QA Program Manager, while day-to-day project direction may be provided by the designated Lead Quality Manager. Between project assignments, the role may support Preconstruction, Technical MEP, quality planning, audits, or other program priorities.
