Own and continually improve Business Unit’s quality/business management and safety systems. This role requires an individual to be an internal expert and resource on all quality and safety systems, supporting, monitoring, and continually improving them. The Quality Manager will oversee all quality & safety audits, maintain records, and coordinate responses to findings. They will also act as the quality representative for the contract review process, monitor the training system, and maintain/report on performance against Quality Objectives. Coordination of the Management Review process and ownership of compliance with OSHA requirements are key responsibilities. This includes completing and posting the OSHA Form 300/300A annually, monitoring safety issues, identifying root causes, and eliminating risks. The role also involves supporting HR with Workman Comp claims, training employees on quality & safety procedures, and fostering a safety-oriented culture. Participation in the company’s strategic planning, vision, mission, values, and desired culture is expected, along with providing good feedback and promoting good communication. Adherence to all safety and quality system requirements is mandatory.
