About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a KC-46 Product & Services Quality Manager (K-Level) within the Mobility and Surveillance organization directly supporting our Boom Shop in Everett, WA! This role manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations. The manager develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures, and organizational and technical strategies to improve performance. This role also provides education and coaching on the Quality System, may make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies, acquires and manages resources, and leads process improvements. Additionally, the manager develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, government agencies, and direct reports. This position manages both union and non-union employees and is responsible for their development and motivation.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership."
  • More than 5 years of aerospace manufacturing
  • More than 3 years of experience leading and influencing people in a Quality organization
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
