Quality Management Specialist - Full Time - Days
About The Position
Ensure regulatory compliant provision of services by investigating, documenting and resolving QM concerns; performing ongoing observation and assessment of service delivery; providing instruction, feedback and support to staff/management. Support staff and management in maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements by serving as a visible resource for information and assistance. Ensure financial integrity of Agency programs and services by participating in internal audits of documentation and implementation of necessary corrective actions. Ensure continuing improvement of QM Department by monitoring status and communicating unmet needs to the director and VP.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Human Services or related
- Functional knowledge of basic computer applications (i.e. e-mail, word processing)
- Driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and dependable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to travel between sites
- Ability to comfortably able to interact with all levels of staff and enforce established regulations and policies
- Ability to accurately and effectively interpret and communicate technical and regulatory information to all levels of staff and management
- Ability to accurately identify development needs and comfortably make recommendations
- Ability to effectively direct others in achieving regulatory objectives
- Ability to provide formal and informal instruction and training to staff
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related
- One (1) year Human Services experience
- Experience working with Federal and NYS regulations governing services to people with disabilities
