About The Position

This role involves adhering to safety and housekeeping requirements within a plant quality lab setting. The primary focus is on performing various quality testing tasks in a factory environment. The successful candidate will be willing and able to learn testing duties through instruction and self-study, recognizing and responding to test trends. Basic communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to record quality data and other results accurately. The role also requires active participation in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as directed by supervision. Adaptability to scheduling requirements, including shiftwork, overtime, and weekend work, is necessary.

Requirements

Able to work in a manufacturing lab setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot lab testing equipment.
Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
Possess ability to become proficient at performing tests and taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications.
Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
