The Production Operator is responsible for operating and managing process equipment to produce blended, diluted, and manufactured final products in a safe and efficient manner. This role ensures that the final product meets specifications through process data and testing techniques, and maintains safe and efficient operations by monitoring processes and utilizing equipment such as scrubbers, ventilation, and bonding/grounding systems. The operator will also be responsible for receiving, unloading, preparing, and loading liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars, which involves physical tasks like maneuvering hoses, climbing tanks, and inspecting equipment. Product sampling, quality control, picking and staging products for delivery, and operating industrial lift trucks are also key duties. Additionally, the role involves repackaging products into appropriate containers, filling various containers with product, and ensuring proper labeling and storage according to company and regulatory requirements, with special attention to food grade and USP items. Hazardous waste drums must be stored compliantly. Inventory management, including examining stored product, reporting damage, rearranging materials, and assisting with physical inventory counts, is also part of the responsibilities. General maintenance of the warehouse to ensure cleanliness, accessibility, and safety, as well as immediate reporting and cleanup of spills, are expected. Other duties as assigned, including general warehouse duties, will also be required.
