About The Position

The Quality Lab Technician is responsible for entry-level general labor in a safe work environment while following company policies and procedures. The role prepares Certificates of Analysis and reviews and processes results data for outbound loads. The technician also completes sample testing, maintains records, follows customer specifications, and ensures HACCP requirements are met. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with availability for all shifts when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Must follow all safety requirements.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and to be available for all shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and process results data.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis.
• Complete hourly tests on samples, including PVs, FFAs, protein, ash, fat, and moisture.
• Complete weekly samples.
• Maintain electronic records.
• Follow customer specifications and ensure HACCP requirements are met.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
