About The Position

The Quality Lab Technician joins the Quality team and helps ensure that incoming materials and manufactured products meet quality standards. The role is based on-site in Smyrna, Tennessee, with a Monday–Friday first-shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and an hourly rate of $19. No travel is required. The employee may also be asked to perform other related duties as assigned by their manager to meet the organization’s ongoing needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in a quality-related role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming receiving inspections to verify material compliance.
• Conduct first piece inspections to ensure production accuracy.
• Audit in-process and finished products for conformance to specifications.
• Facilitate sorting and segregation of non-conforming parts.
• Lead investigations into customer quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
