About The Position
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting routine and specialized laboratory tests, analyzing materials, recording data, and supporting research, quality, and production activities. This role ensures accurate, reliable results to maintain product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement within the organization. The duties outlined in this Job Description are expected to be completed in a professional, safe and quality minded manner, and per all Company Policies, Procedures and additional expectations as outlined by position Supervisor.
Requirements
- Lift, push, pull items to 20 lbs
- Stand and sit for 8 – 12 hours per shift
- High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
- Manufacturing Experience
- Communication Skills – verbal and written
- Computer Skills if applicable
- Ability to work with others and in team environment, or as an individual
- Follow all Company Policies / Procedures
- Professionalism and Respect towards all members of Spuntech Team
- Provide mentorship as needed
- Diligence in Quality and Safety in all areas of your work performance and practices
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a continuous manufacturing facility a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform job duties in compliance with site safety rules and notify appropriate management of any safety hazard, with the intent of supporting an injury-free work environment.
- Support the company’s quality and safety initiatives
- Abide by the job-related procedures, work instructions and other guidelines designed to help ensure the quality, purity, or compliance with specifications
- Use written specifications in coordination with precision measuring instruments, devices, or gauges to ensure conformance with standards
- Check finished products for irregularities to supervisor or production management
- Check accuracy of gauges, scales and other measuring instruments
- Report on quality C.O.T
- Keep laboratory area clean and neat
- Perform any other duties as requested by Supervisor or Quality Manager
- Flexibility in shift scheduling
- Overtime as required by Business Needs / Projects, as directed by Supervisor

- Provide Backup in other Company Areas as needed
