About The Position

This role establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules. The specialist communicates and coordinates these schedules daily with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure necessary resources are allocated. They will also direct and lead personnel assigned to quality audits and inventory counts, and provide daily written and electronic reports of analysis and statistics. A key responsibility includes spot auditing various warehouse operations for all accounts and documenting results, as well as interacting with supervisors and leads to identify areas for corrective action. The role requires timely email responses and other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 6 or more years of related work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent audit skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements, and industry standards.
  • Highly organized and pays close attention to detail.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 or more years of industry related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
  • Directs and leads the work of any personnel assigned to the quality audits and/or inventory counts.
  • Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Spot audits unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Interacts with supervisors and leads to identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
  • Reads and responds to all emails in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
