About The Position

The Inventory Specialist & Quality Control position is responsible for managing inventory accuracy and quality control for all THC and non-THC products at the Waterbury facility. This role conducts inventory counts, investigates discrepancies, verifies product movement, and ensures compliance with Connecticut regulations and company standards. Working closely with the Production Manager and Director of Compliance, the Inventory Specialist supports inventory management, production planning, and quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

  • Inventory control or inventory management experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with physical work and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable, accurate, and committed to compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Complete weekly inventory counts and reconcile records in Canix and other inventory systems.
  • Investigate, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing inventory, manifests, and shipments.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products, labels, and quantities.
  • Review batch records and inventory documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze inventory trends and support production planning.
  • Maintain accurate ERP, e-commerce, and inventory system records.
