About The Position

Valtir is hiring a quality inspector to support our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility by performing quality checks of highway safety products. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Valtir has been a leader in highway safety products for over 50 years, specializing in guardrail, end terminals, steel barriers, crash cushions, and sign support.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of quality experience
Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility standing most of the day.
Extensive experience in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
Reliable and predictable attendance
Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff
Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships

Responsibilities

Inspect products and maintain documentation to ensure quality standards are being met
Work with shop personnel and supervisors to improve overall effectiveness of quality systems
Work with other departments to exchange quality information
Count, check and tag products according to company’s quality standards
Complete all quality records and follow company polies/procedures
Other duties as assigned
