As a QC Inspector at Abrasive Technology, you’ll help ensure mission-critical aerospace, defense, and industrial components meet exacting standards. Your work will keep aircraft flying, defense systems secure, and advanced technologies performing flawlessly.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (or equivalent).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and certifications.
Familiar with inspection equipment; including microscopes, micrometers, calipers, and electronic measurement systems.
Strong attention to detail and methodical work habits.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, and NADCAP requirements.
Previous training or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections and ensure compliance with blueprints, technical plans, and customer specifications—making sure every part we produce meets the highest quality standards.
Inspecting clearance-control coated parts using microscopes, micrometers, calipers, electronic measurement systems, and other tools.
Reviewing certifications, test results, and process documentation for compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, Nadcap, and customer requirements.
Completing First Article Inspections (FAI) and AS9102 documentation.
Recording inspection results, documenting non-conformances, and maintaining detailed reports.
Verifying that all manufacturing steps are complete and properly signed off.
Creating reports and maintaining inspection packets.
Preparing shipping documents, packaging parts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Completing Certificates of Conformance
