This role is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and experience working in a manufacturing or quality environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" (per ITAR 120.15) and are required to show proof substantiating this upon being hired.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of quality inspection experience preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of parts and materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, height gauges, etc.)
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
  • Identify and report non-conforming products and assist with corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures (ISO/AS standards as applicable)
  • Perform first article inspections (FAI) as required
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
