The Level One Quality Inspector role involves training to inspect products such as machined parts, mechanical assemblies, processed parts, and hardware according to predetermined methods and specifications. This includes verifying part identification and configurations, organizing inspection queues, and identifying/segregating non-conforming product using basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME 14.5 and common inspection tools. The role requires blueprint reading, basic math skills, basic PC skills (Microsoft Office), and the ability to learn MRP/ERP systems. This is typically a 0-1 year experience level position.
