About The Position
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join our Metal Fabrication team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all parts meet our high standards during and after the welding and fabrication processes. You will also support the Inspection Department with final inspections and verify that job requirements are met according to standards by reviewing traveler/prints.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- Metal/Material Knowledge
- Manufacturing Processes
- Attention to detail and planning
- Excellent communication skills; especially with leads and team members
- Materials/Tooling understanding and application of best practices
- Read blueprints, tape measure, caliper, etc.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting parts during and/or after welding and fabrication
- Assist in the Inspection Department with final inspections as needed
- Review traveler/prints to determine the job requirements were properly completed to standard
