About The Position

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality Inspector for its 3rd shift opportunity, working Monday to Friday from 10pm to 6am. This role involves visually inspecting products, segregating nonconforming material, and performing required job audits for Op Cert surveillance. The position requires adherence to all EH & S guidelines and may involve occasional weekend work to support the production schedule. A detailed inspection certification is required upon completion of training. The company is transforming the future of flight and is looking for passionate individuals to join their team.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Basic understanding of print tolerances including ability to interpret some GD&T.
• Working knowledge of Op Cert functions.
• Proficiency using precision measuring equipment.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year manufacturing inspection experience
• May require occasional weekend work to support production schedule.
• Detailed inspection cert is required at the conclusion of training.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects product and segregates nonconforming material.
• Perform Solumina required job audits for Op Cert surveillance.
• Perform OpCert over-inspects, as required.
• Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment.
• Meet vision requirements of NAS410 or internal equivalent.
