About The Position

Xyant Technology is seeking a Quality Inspector with Aerospace/Aircraft FAI Inspection experience for a 6-month contract position in Simpsonville, SC. This role involves verifying dimensions and drawing notes against blueprints, confirming production processes, tracing raw materials, completing AS9102 Forms, and triggering new FAI inspections when necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Aerospace FAI Inspection experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Verify 100% of dimensions and drawing notes against blueprints using calibrated inspection tools.
• Confirm the production process uses the exact tooling, machinery, and work instructions planned for mass manufacturing.
• Trace all raw materials and special processes back to certified mill reports and approved suppliers.
• Complete AS9102 Forms 1, 2, and 3 to document part data, material specs, and actual measured results.
• Trigger a new FAI whenever there is a design change, a move to a new facility, or a production lapse of two years.
