About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector. This is a Full-Time Contract position with a duration of 12 months, with the possibility of contract to hire. The role is located in Palm Bay, FL 32905. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections, tests, and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies, and quality control programs to specifications. This includes interpreting manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications, and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in-process or final assemblies. The role also involves reworking defective or malfunctioning units or systems, maintaining support documentation, and performing sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies. Additionally, the inspector will review and report performance data, ensure raw materials, in-process, and finished products meet company and test standards, and determine or assist in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection. The position may involve interfacing with customer quality representatives or suppliers. This role is specifically for a 2nd shift Quality Control Inspector and requires an active Secret Security clearance.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Active Secret Security clearance.
Must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities

Performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
Interpreting manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
Reworking defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
Maintaining support documentation and performing sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
Reviewing and reporting performance data.
Ensuring raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.

May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
