About The Position

Performs inspections of in-process and finished goods as directed by drawings, customer requirements, and other instructions. This role requires a focus on safety and maintaining quality standards within the plant manufacturing setting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 – 3 years in a quality function
  • Must be regularly available and willing to work a continuous operation 12 hour shift schedule as the company determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional inspections of moulded products using a data collection system along with micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, digital indicators, wall thickness gauges and other various measuring equipment.
  • Generate and issue statistical data and charts to production.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspection results.
  • Perform gauge calibration.
  • Plotting SPC Control charts and interpretation.
  • Assist in maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices within the plant.
  • Perform Work Instructions and SOPs as written by the company to comply with established standards.
  • Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or per week as the company determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by the company absentee control program.
  • Perform other duties as required.
