About The Position

Delva Tool & Machine is looking for a Quality Inspector I, II, or III to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections while helping maintain the highest standards of quality throughout production. Delva Tool & Machine and its 4 locations specialize in precision machining, fabrication, and assembly highly engineered components. Requirements

Experience level may range from entry-level to senior inspection professionals.
Blueprint reading skills.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Understanding of manufacturing quality principles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of AS9100, GD&T, CMMs, and FAI documentation is highly valued for higher-level positions.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Identify and process nonconforming material.
Verify certifications, traceability documentation, and traveler accuracy.
Support AS9100 quality system requirements and documentation.
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
