About The Position

This role involves traveling to supplier facilities to perform inspections.

Requirements

• Practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on mechanical commodities (GD&T ANSI/ASME Y14.5).
• Practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on electronic commodities such as wires, harnesses, and cables to IPC-620 standard.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Purchase Orders (POs).
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with the AS9102 standard.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Computer savvy.
• Own a laptop for this assignment.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of five years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various supplier facilities to perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies.
• Inspect parts to engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
• Report inspection accept/reject information directly to the customer via web application.
