About The Position

This position is located in Faribault, Minnesota, and offers a starting wage of $33.09 an hour. The shift is Friday-Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. The facility is climate-controlled.

Requirements

  • The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE.
  • The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Final, receiving, and related in-process inspection of materials, parts, finished products and/or associated assemblies.
  • Accepts or rejects products, assemblies, materials and parts that do not conform to the required drawings and or specifications.
  • Determines reasons for defects when applicable.
  • Assists in the investigation of quality problems and provides feedback regarding quality issues and/or defects to the department Supervisor, Engineering Technician and Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Follows quality process control procedures and method release within the department.
  • Performs the required tests on products or assemblies to assure their conformance.
  • Completes the required inspection reports and other associated paperwork.
  • Follows ISO requirements
  • Usage of a variety of inspection equipment.
  • Evaluate data that is obtained or received.
  • Make decisions on own regarding acceptable defective products and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
