About The Position
Valtir is hiring a quality inspector to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by performing quality checks of highway safety products. Valtir has been an industry leader and global supplier of highway safety products for over 50 years! Our core roadway product lines include, guardrail, end terminals, steel barriers, crash cushions and sign supports. Valtir is dedicated to bring the next generation of innovative safety products to an ever-changing market.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of quality experience
- Extensive experience in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff
- Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
- Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships
Responsibilities
- Inspect products and maintain documentation to ensure quality standards are being met
- Work with shop personnel and supervisors to improve overall effectiveness of quality systems
- Work with other departments to exchange quality information
- Count, check and tag products according to company’s quality standards
- Complete all quality records and follow company polies/procedures
- Other duties as assigned
