About The Position

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring quality control for all Rotork product and services. This role involves conducting inspections of incoming components and materials, raising rejection notices for suppliers, converting internal rejections into supplier returns, and operating and maintaining the internal calibration system. The position requires working in a safe manner, complying with health and safety procedures, and performing various types of inspections including goods inwards, roving, and factory support.

Requirements

Read engineering drawings
Extensive knowledge of physical measurement techniques
Calibration experience
Basic understanding of machining processes
An ability and willingness to train others
Ability to work to a deadline.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to follow instruction and direct others

Responsibilities

Conduct inspection of goods inward components and materials in a timely manner.
Conduct internal roving inspection.
Raise rejections notices on suppliers.
Convert internal rejections into supplier returns.
Operate and maintain the internal calibration system.
Carry out goods inwards inspection of all bought in parts in accordance with company procedures, using as reference engineering drawings, purchase orders, or other associated specifications, either national or international.
Perform roving inspection.
Perform factory support inspection.
Conduct review of documentation supplied with delivered against the appropriate internal or external specification.
Conduct normal activities associated with the functional needs of a quality department, at the request of supervision.
Working in an appropriate and safe manner, maintaining compliance with local health and safety procedures.
