Requirements

  • Associate's degree or in lieu of degree, 4 years directly related work experience.
  • One to two years related Quality Inspection experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or work-related experience.
  • General knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs, such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Database Software.
  • Strong verbal, written and listening skills; ability to read, understand and follow SOP’s, supervisor instructions and safety, security and quality procedures; clearly communicate detailed instructions.
  • Ability to identify production or quality issues.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors to inspect product and pass color vision and color hue tests.
  • Pays attention to details; maintains complete and accurate records.
  • Use self-management skills to plan, organize and prioritize work activities to use time efficiently.
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
  • Gain cooperation among team members and leaders.
  • Works well with minimal supervision.
  • Helps and supports all employees in their work.
  • Responds positively to instructions and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year Quality inspection experience a plus.
  • Certified Quality Auditor certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and/or final inspection of products in accordance with acceptance criteria, internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Record, analyze and report performance of inspection activities.
  • Control and report nonconforming material.
  • Coordinate inspection activities with production personnel.
  • Research and resolve identified quality issues with management and Client Services team.
  • Maintain quality records and attend production, program or project meetings, as assigned.
  • Promote product quality, process improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow the Safety, Security and Housekeeping protocols.
  • Other duties as requested or assigned.
