Experienced Quality Inspector
About The Position
Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in Enfield, CT. This role involves verifying routine product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and segregating and controlling non-conforming items. The inspector will perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance. Under limited supervision, the inspector will inspect incoming parts/material, outgoing orders, verify correct certification, check parts for processing, check special orders, and use tools such as micrometers, gauge controls, and calipers daily. The position also includes providing mentorship to the Inspection team, conducting dimensional and visual inspections, and reviewing/disposing of certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ related work experience using calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator
- 5+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures
- Reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
- A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
