About The Position

The Quality Inspector will assist with quality control inspection efforts for product coming off the production floor in our manufacturing facility. This role involves assisting with In-Process quality control (QC), concentrating on product coming off the production floor. The inspector will continuously audit work areas for the identification of acceptable/rejection of product within the process and advise production supervisors of any observed non-conformity. Maintaining lot control traceability documentation during the manufacturing process and using quality control equipment to measure the quality of product are key responsibilities. Related job duties will be performed as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
  • Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to visually inspect materials.
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
  • Requires normal color perception.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to keep detailed and accurate records.
  • Ability to focus and perform precision hand movements when operating a machine.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, able to work around machinery.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Reason through problems involving set-up and operation.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of decimals.
  • Ability to perform data entry operations with accuracy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
