About The Position

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Menomonee Falls, WI. This role is responsible for acting as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection/audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. This role also involves containing and rectifying non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies through methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly, and/or disassembly. The inspector will determine the necessary tools and equipment for the job and will grind, sand, clean, and oil parts and/or sub-assemblies using hand tools or equipment. Communication of sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors, and the production source is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Must be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to Coordinate, prioritize and multitask
• Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material
• Ability lift /move 30 pounds
• Must have reliable transportation
• 1+ year in Quality related position.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
• Performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
• Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
• Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment.
• Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.
• Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
