About The Position

The Quality Inspector will perform final inspection for quality, appearance, and performance of complicated equipment, instruments, or products, or of diversified parts and assemblies. This role involves planning inspection procedures, devising unusual measuring or gauging setups, and utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments, including electronic devices like optical comparators. The inspector will check characteristics such as color, finish, dimensions, hardness, and density, and perform detailed first article inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operations
• Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• 0-2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection for quality, appearance and performance of complicated equipment, instruments or products, or of diversified parts and assemblies
• Plan inspection procedures and devise unusual measuring or gauging setups
• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments including electronic devices, such as optical comparators
• Check color, finish, dimensions, hardness, density or other measurable or observable characteristics of material
• Perform detailed first article inspections
