Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
One year experience using inspection techniques in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with Microsoft PC applications.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production.
Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products for visual, mechanical, and dimensional characteristics using inspection sheets and sampling plans.
Compare results with specifications and document deviations.
Read and follow visual aids, engineering change notices, and operating procedures.
Perform visual inspections using magnification, sampling methods, first article checks, and/or AOI machines.
Enter inspection results into MES systems.
Perform lot release and archive batch documentation.
Prepare documentation and ensure compliance.
Assist in training co-workers.
Perform roving auditor inspections in manufacturing environments.
Follow all safety, health, and security policies.
