This position is for 2nd shift and you will receive an 8% shift differential for working the following hours from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Monday thru Friday.

Requirements

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline and 4 years of related experience OR an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 2 years of relevant experience.
Prior experience working in Product Inspection or Manufacturing Quality Assurance.
Experience in working in a Manufacturing or Depot Repair Environment.
Experience in drawing or blueprint reading.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with basic inspection Hand tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Inspection scopes, etc.).
Past experience working in Quality Inspection
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organization.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
SAP and Microsoft Office Experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-process and final inspections of electronic assemblies to determine product quality and acceptability of inspected items.
Perform Test Witnessing and Test Data verification to ensure functionality of deliverable units.
Review Drawings and Process requirements to support compliance of production items to Technical Data Packages.
Interpret and adhere to quality standards, specifications, and procedures
Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and quality
Document inspection results and maintain detailed records
Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Perform administrative tasks associated with file management and material control
