The Quality Inspector conducts receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace engine components to verify conformance with design requirements and customer specifications. Responsibilities include dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision inspection equipment. The role requires the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, understand and apply GD&T requirements, and evaluate product characteristics against aerospace standards and specifications. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of inspection methodologies, quality assurance principles, and aerospace manufacturing processes while maintaining accurate inspection records and supporting continuous improvement efforts. This position is classified as a safety sensitive role under applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a DOT required pre employment drug test. Individuals hired into this role remain subject to ongoing drug and/or alcohol testing, including random testing, in accordance with federal regulations.
