Requirements
- High School diploma/GED with 3-5 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
- Experience in leading operations or teams in completing tasks.
- Able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
- Knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
- Knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
- Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
- Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Able to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
- Willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
- Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Possess, or be able to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with drawing interpretation both Electrical and Mechanical.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
- IPC 610/620 certified.
- J-STD certified.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming components and assembled parts.
- Check documentation for accuracy.
- Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.
- Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
- Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.
- Lead or participate in 5S activities.
