About The Position

Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector at our Fort Walton beach, FL location. Hours are Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm on a 9/80 schedule. Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience as a Quality Inspector or Operator in an electronics manufacturing environment required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Competence to perform inspections using calipers, thread gages, scales, micro-hite
  • General PC skills, including Word, Excel and Oracle
  • Ability to interpret drawings and part specifications
  • Accurate color vision and depth perception
  • Vision corrected to 20/20
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, including interfacing with Order Management, Internal Quality Engineers, Customers and other Internal Management personnel
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Works from blueprints, customer drawings, engineering change notices, military standards, and established operating procedures to determine acceptance, rejection or rework requirements of assembled units or supplier components
  • Conducts visual inspections with high level of accuracy to verify physical properties
  • Ensures the build and test manufacturing process has been completed
  • Proactively communicates errors and systemic trends to the quality organization
  • Enters data into software tools
  • Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management
