About The Position

Apparent Technologies is seeking a full-time Quality Inspector II for its Austin, Texas facility. The role independently performs dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of precision-machined components, welded assemblies, and ultra-high-purity (UHP) gas delivery systems to ensure products meet engineering specifications, customer requirements, and ISO 9001 quality standards. The inspector interprets technical drawings and GD&T requirements, uses precision measurement and metrology equipment, documents results, and determines whether products conform before they proceed to later manufacturing operations or are released. The position requires work in a Class 100 cleanroom, with consistent attention to cleanliness, contamination control, gowning, and careful handling of precision parts. The inspector identifies and documents nonconformances, initiates containment and product holds, supports investigations and corrective actions, and maintains inspection records and traceability. The role also supports SPC activities, continuous improvement, and collaboration across Quality, Engineering, and Production. Apparent Technologies offers competitive compensation based on experience, professional development, and opportunities for career advancement.
