About The Position

Indotronix is seeking a Quality Inspector II for an onsite job in Aiken, SC. This is a temporary to hire position with a duration of 03+ months. The role supports Day Shift and Weekend Shift, with working hours from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm on a 3/12 schedule.

Requirements

• Experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints.
• Ability to support Day Shift and Weekend Shift.
• Technical knowledge of calibration standards, measurement principles, and quality control procedures in compliance with NIST and ISO requirements.
• Hands-on experience with calibration tools, electronic test equipment, and software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related working experience.

Nice To Haves

• Coordinate measurement machine (CMM) experience.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience.
• Weld inspection knowledge/experience.
• Faro Arm/Laser Tracker or Keyence experience.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate data interpretation.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and correct equipment deviations.
• Physical dexterity for standing, crouching, or kneeling during inspections and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections using basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.

• Ensure compliance with NIST and ISO requirements.
• Perform calibration of tools and equipment.
• Interpret data and identify equipment deviations.
• Troubleshoot and correct equipment deviations.
• Perform inspections and repairs requiring standing, crouching, or kneeling.
