About The Position

The Quality Inspector I performs first piece, in process, and final inspections. This role has the authority to stop production if parts do not pass. The inspector reads and understands print drawings and specifications for correct test requirements, procedures, and sampling plans. They receive and document sample parts into the Quality Lab tracking system, review lab test results to ensure all operations have been properly performed and recorded, and issue and track production gages to the manufacturing floor. Sorting parts in the lab may also be required. This role also assists the Quality Engineer and Manager as required and performs required ISO 9001-2015 tasks & audits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail Oriented
• Basic Math Skills
• Has a sense of urgency and is proactive.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office.
