About The Position

The Quality Inspector I role is responsible for aiding the quality engineers and quality department. Inspector I is responsible for the day-to-day recording and validation of material between customers, vendors and operations.

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant experience.
Ability to perform calculations utilizing arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division normally attained through elementary school education.
Ability to perform calculations utilizing algebra and fractions.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED, and up to one year work experience preferred.
Knowledge of Catia and/or Verisurf is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspects materials and products, for conformance to specifications.
Inspects finished product for quality and customer requirements.
Carry out policies and procedures for testing and evaluating product.
Responsible for operating mechanical and electrical test equipment.
Working to Standard Operating Procedures (work instructions)
Assist in recording of non-conformities of parts/product.
Assist in the controlling/segregating of conforming vs. non-conforming parts /product.
Ability to meet key performance metrics in a timely matter.
