Perform in-process inspection on product being processed through the work cell, specifically at SMT, Wave and Selective Soldering operations. This role requires adherence to all ESD and Board Handling requirements, including Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL). The inspector will verify process compliance to document control processes and procedures, examine product to verify conformance to workmanship standards, and inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials through the designated ERP system. The position involves inspecting product according to specific in-process inspector training and procedure, along with IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 workmanship standards. Documentation of inspection results, resolution of quality-related issues, and approval of finished materials are key responsibilities. The role also includes stopping processes to control the manufacture of non-conforming assemblies and supporting all ISO standards related to Quality Management Systems. Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment is also a critical aspect of this position.
