About The Position

This role performs first piece, in process, and final inspections. The Quality Inspector I has the authority to stop production if parts do not pass. They are responsible for reading and understanding print drawings and specifications for correct test requirements, procedures, and sampling plans. This role also involves receiving and documenting sample parts into the Quality Lab tracking system, reviewing lab test results to ensure all operations have been properly performed and recorded, and issuing and tracking production gages to the manufacturing floor. Sorting parts in the lab may also be required. The position requires knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 and assists the Quality Engineer and Manager as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Required ISO 9001-2015
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail Oriented
• Basic Math Skills
• Has a sense of urgency and is proactive.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office.
